The Triangle House is a contemporary Norwegian home planned by JVA, Jarmund/Vigsnæs AS Arkitekter MNALT. The house is located in Nesodden, Norway. The house is surrounded by pine-forest. But one could still look out to the sea from inside the house. The aerial building lines accentuate the design, especially the roof line.
Different windows, defining various spaces of the house, highlight the external view of the house. The interior of the house is designed with a subtle combination of light and space. This deadly combo of focal and flow is the main idea of the house design.
Wooden panels protect the exterior of the house and match the window designs. Interior of the house has OSB-boards and concrete floors covered partly with sisal mats.
Brushed aluminum panes and mirrors panel the bathrooms. A huge collection of selected books will make a small library and add that soft touch to the house. The residents of the house claim that they get very sound sleep in the house.
