Suzy is Having Her New Poodle

This one maybe something contradiction to what I’ve experienced the last time. I’m so scared to dogs (any dogs) since a tiny dog nipped my leg. But, today Suzy bought herself a poodle that surely will accompany her to anywhere she goes.

She had the poodle from one of her friend who has many pets in his house. He is a pet-addicted so you will find that his pets are outnumbering the person lives in the house instead. There’s a funny conspiracy theory to me that if someday all the pets unite, they might attack and conquer the whole house as their kingdom :-)

Back to the poodle, Suzy answered that she bought that poodle also for my sake. At first, it was a true contradiction. But, she has the reason. She wants to get rid my dog-phobia out of my life. Maybe, with a little help from the poodle, will get me used with those four-legged creature which hunt me down to my dreams.

Fish, Fish, Fish.. It’s All We’ve Got..

That’s the consequence for taking a camp site near the river. The river is only 4 ft deep on the lowest part so it would have us drowned. There’s a lot of fun when we’re playing with water, plus we can easily spot the water animals which is fish!

Well, it’s not the first time for us to see fishes in the river, but having them swimming across our feet is something that we never had before. I wish they’re salmons.

James wasn’t excited at first we called him to go down the river. But as we showed him that we are having fun with the fishes, he put aside his notebook instantly and ran down at a full speed. You know what happened next? He acted like a John Rambo, hunt the fishes with a spear.

Of course he couldn’t get big fishes like Rambo did, as he struggled for an hour spearing, but serving three small fishes for the dinner was a quite honorable.

Disappointment Has Its Pay

The camping site which we usually headed are not available for the recent time. There was a landslide on one side of the hill so any campers would be warned not to camp near the landslide site. As a matter of fact, the site was our favorite site to go camping. The rangers told us to go north where they pointed out another available camping site. It’s not a hill but it’s on the edge of a small river.

At the beginning, we’re a bit of disappointed since we knew that our favorite site wouldn’t be available again. Also we didn’t have any preview about what we would gonna have on the new site.

But there’s always a silver line in every gray clouds which means our disappointment has its pay. The new site wasn’t bad at all. Instead, it’s terrific. The small river was the good part of the site since it runs smoothly and we could build our tent on the higher level above the river current. We shouldn’t afraid about the sudden flood because the slope terrain would protect us from increasing water level.

Heading For Camping

Suzy bring her large tent which she bought a couple of months ago. That should fit five of us together, besides the two little tents which the twins brought. They will be used as the supply tent or reserve needs. What James got in his bag is not less of his notebook and a small set of audio. I wonder what would he do with that stuffs whenever he is in the camping site where there’s no electricity available.

“I know that I won’t have any internet connection while we’re away, but I’m still able to read some PDF files which I’ve downloaded some time ago and never been read”, said James.

He added,”And if you still have doubt about these audio sets and where should I have electricity, here you go”. He showed me a simple electrical generator which runs on gasoline. “It’s e-bay’s”, he simply nodded. He also brought a dozen of batteries that should convince me that he wouldn’t run out of energy.

All the stuffs are packed and we’re ready to head to the camping site. It’s quite a fortune since my Combi Volkswagen has been repaired and ready to ride several days ago, so we didn’t have much worry about the transportation.

Weekend Plan

I have submit the proposal and the result should be announced for next Monday. I felt that the proposal was far than perfect so I don’t take it seriously if then the Clarke’s reject the predesigned works.

I’ve just opened the front door as I spotted that there were a couple guys came approach. No doubt it’s Tim and Tom. They’ve already finished their.. umm… 35th race, whom the winner was Tom. Rather than asking me to accompany their afternoon exercise [as they usually did], they asked me to went on camping with them on the next weekend.

Actually I have no jobs to do until the next Monday, but I have plan to clean up the house which I haven’t done since three weeks ago. The best time to do that is next Sunday. But, when those twins said that Suzy would also come with them, I thiunk their idea wouldn’t be bad at all.

The Twins Indifference

The twins, Tim and Tom had just come back from their trip out of town to participate the national basketball tournament. Unfortunately their team hasn’t won the tournament but the good news they’re promoted for the next year’s event which previously out of listed.

These Tim and Tom [unlike Tintin’s Thomson and Thompson] are a kind of sports addicted, especially in basketball. They’re identical twins, have the same physical appearance, likeness, perception, thoughts, but when it comes to play, being the best become the main words.

In high school they’re not at the same class, also not at the same basketball league. This indifference somehow grows their sense of competition. I often see them taking race when they go out for an afternoon jog. The result changes overtime as if Tom wins the race today, he’ll suffer lost on the next day from his brother. And the overall result comes to draw.

James, the Mechanic Man

James, James, why should we call him as ‘the mechanic man’? If you think that his nickname derived from his profession as an auto mechanic, you are not wrong at all. Unfortunately, you’re not true a hundred percent.

James does repair autos and machines, but his true occupation is not auto mechanic. He is an internet freak [for us to say] since he usually spend not less than fifteen hours each day browsing. Instead he’s also a kind of bookworm thus he has hundreds of books in his room. He bought them almost all from Amazon. Then you should know where all of his skills come from.

It’s rarely known that a bookworm could be so handy about auto repair, but James did. He’s not only good in reading and digesting the books and manuals. As soon as he grabbed your washing machine manuals, he could easily understand the specifications. The next time you have problems with your washer, you can rely them to James.

Again, why should we call James as ‘mechanic man’ instead of ‘bookworm’? We think that bookworms and internet freaks stands for negative phrase for less socialized person. But, James does cool things more than internet freaks and the words just don’t fit him.
